I wasn't sure which gallery to put this picture in but after some consideration I thought it best to put it in the 2D section. I spent most of the time on it in Photoshop.

The ship was modeled in wings 3D and then rendered in Vue along with the planets. Some of the 'fractal' bits were done in Apophysis and then everything was put toghether in photoshop. The clouds were a combination of images I took and some I 'googled'. It took about 5 days to do, not sure how many hours though.
